Korean Cultural Day 2023 launched in Sa Pa tourist resort
Taking part in the two-day event, visitors have the chance to take pictures with Hanbok, the traditional costume of the Republic of Korea, make kimchi, a traditional Korean dish made from fermented cabbage, radish, or cucumber, and take part in the K-pop dance.
They are also invited to visit the cultural and tourism galleries of the RoK and Lao Cai province, and watch the Korea – Lao Cai art exchange programme with the participation of famous artists of the two countries.
Addressing the ceremony, Suk Jin-young, director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, emphasized that after more than two years of cancelation due to COVID-19, the Korean Culture Day festival has returned this year with many interesting cultural exchange activities on schedule.
Hopefully, the activities will bring interesting experiences and beautiful memories for visitors in Sa Pa this year, he said.
Korean Cultural Day is part of activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK this year. It is held to stimulate tourism, and promote culture and diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the RoK.
