THE HANOI CHRONICLE — With National Day celebrations just around the corner, there have been concerns about accommodation shortages in Hanoi, especially with reports of fully booked hotels in the city. However, the Hanoi Department of Tourism has assured travelers that there is no need to worry. The city is well-equipped to handle the influx of visitors and has a diverse range of lodging options. According to Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, while there might be occasional shortages of rooms in central areas near the parade venue, Hanoi boasts an extensive accommodation system. The department anticipates a large number of people flocking to the city for the 80th-anniversary celebrations of Independence Day, which falls on September 2, 1945-2025.
