On November 12, exceptional creative ideas were recognized and awarded in a competition for designing a multifunctional cultural park along the sandbank and riparian areas of the iconic Red River. Hon Gai Architecture Co Ltd and the Green Lungs Hanoi Consortium were awarded second place for their respective proposals – the ‘Red River Art Cultural Park’ and the ‘Ecological Park’. Meanwhile, the Encity-Siura Studio Consortium secured third place with their innovative ‘Dragon Park by the Red River’ concept. Notably, the competition organizers decided to withhold the first prize, feeling that none of the submissions quite met the exceptional standard they were seeking. This event, a highlight of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2024, took place at the Hanoi Information and Exhibition Center on Dinh Tien Hoang Street in the heart of Hoan Kiem District.
