UNESCO’s Earth Sciences and Geo-hazards Risk Reduction Section renewed the Dak Nong Geopark’s title at a ceremony hosted by the provincial People’s Committee on Thursday evening. This prestigious recognition highlights the region’s exceptional geological and geo-hazard risk reduction efforts. Spanning across 4,760 square kilometers, the geopark encompasses five districts – Krong No, Cu Jut, Dak Mil, Dak Song, and Dak G’Long – and Gia Nghia Town. With 65 geological and geomorphological heritage sites, including a vast system of caves, craters, and waterfalls, the Dak Nong Geopark offers a unique insight into the region’s natural history. Vietnamese Business Community in Berlin Gathers to Kickstart 2024

The Dong Xuan Trade Center in the Lichtenberg district of Berlin recently hosted a gathering with Vietnamese businesses to celebrate the New Year, as reported by VOV. In his speech, Chu Tuan Duc, the minister-counsellor at the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, expressed his excitement for the strong growth and success of the businesses operating at the center. An exhibition titled “The Return” showcasing the Vietnamese community in Germany will be held at the Manzi Exhibition Space in Hanoi from January 8th to January 28th. The themes of “Separation and Reunion” have become integral to the works of the Le Brothers. Following the conclusion of the Miss Grand International 2023 grand finale on October 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnamese representative Le Hoang Phuong was crowned as the fourth runner up. Vietnam to host Malaysia for 2nd AFF Championship game

The highly-anticipated game will kick off at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 7:30 pm (Vietnam time) and will be broadcast live on the FPT Play platform and VTV Can Tho channel. Vietnam made a strong start during their first match of the tournament on December 21 as the 2008 and 2018 winners thrashed Laos 6-0 in Vientiane. The videos focused on introducing diverse perspectives, colourful events and festivals, unique cuisine and new tourism products of HCM City. They aimed to inspire audiences to “pack their bags and go”, to see and experience the vitality of a young, lively, friendly, exciting and future-oriented city. This was part of the programme to attract tourists to HCM City, themed “Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City”.
