The Buddha’s Birthday celebration, a vibrant annual festival, is taking place today, on the 15th day of the fourth lunar month. A spectacular procession of flower-adorned vehicles and Buddha relics took place yesterday, with the participation of thousands of Buddhist monks, nuns, and devoted followers. Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers gathered to offer incense and chant scriptures in honor of Lord Buddha. People formed a long line to join the procession, praying for peace and harmony in the world. The procession of flower vehicles and Buddha relics made its way through the streets of Ly Thuong Kiet, Ba Trieu, and Tran Hung Dao, attracting many spectators.
